HONGKONG COMMITTER:

During China New Year, Mr. T, Leslie, Secretary to the Committee visited HongKong in order to arrange a more effect-1 ive scheme of co-operation. The chief points of the agreemen which was reached by him with the Ingkong Committee are 48

follows:-

1. The 75,000 copies of the Pictorial Ch'ong Pao up

to that time sent to Hongkong are to be sent to Shanghai in

future.

2. The Shanghai Committee will supply HongKong with

25,000 copies of the Ch'eng Pao Pictorial and ewe Section

complete.

3 The distribution throughout Chins should be centralised in Shanghai.

4. The two Committees will co-operate in arranging for an efficient distribution of the balance of 50,000 of the Ch'eng Pao Pictorial (10,000. copies of the 50,000 being earmarked for vladivostock and liarbin) in Southe

5. The Shanghai Committee will prepare and supply HongKong all pamphlets that may be required.

It is hoped that by this arrangement any overlappi in distribution in South Chine may be eliminated.

In connection with his visit Mr. Leslie was giver clearly to understand that the members of the HongKon Committee considered that a distribution of the Ch'e

Pao Pictorial unaccompanied by any reading matter w

very little value.
